Gary began his career with Bates & Murray, Inc. as an Apprentice Electrician in July of 1975. After completing his apprenticeship, Gary became a Journeyman Electrician, then later becoming a Master Electrician in both the states of Vermont and New Hampshire. Gary holds a type TQP Fire Alarm license and is qualified to design, install and test fire alarm systems. Gary's experience includes electrical installations of various types as well as project management during his years as an electrician. Because of Gary's electrical working knowledge and attention to detail he was promoted to estimator and later to electrical designer. Gary is not only well versed in Design / Build , but is also extremely capable of developing budgets based upon conceptual project designs. Gary's in-depth electrical experience, attention to detail and expertise in the National Electrical Code, provides the solid back ground necessary for performing electrical design that not only meets the requirements of the project, but is performance based, cost effective and state of the art. For the past eight years Gary has worked in the Design / Build department at Bates & Murray, Inc. and is presently Vice President of Marketing and Senior Electrical Designer in charge of all design build projects.

Dan Holland has been employed with Bates & Murray, Inc. since May of 1992. He served four years as an Electrical Apprentice with Bates & Murray, Inc. becoming a Journeyman Electrician upon completion of his apprenticeship. After serving as a Journeyman Electrician Dan pursued his Master Electricians license with both the states of Vermont and New Hampshire. During his employment with Bates & Murray, Inc. Dan performed as a project foreman and supervisor until joining the Design / Build department at Bates & Murray, Inc. Dan has successfully completed the Advanced CAD Operators course at VTC and is now Senior CAD Operator and Designer in the design department . Dan's proven electrical experience, combined with his CAD skills have proven to be extremely beneficial to our customers. Dan's electrical experience is applied to his electrical design work and drawing to insure electrical equipment and systems that are designed can actually be installed efficiently and in a practical manor. As Dan says " To draw on paper is one thing - it's practical field experience that makes the difference when it comes workable drawings."
